Martin Perry showed he can be mischievous too with his comments about the stadium's progress and the lovely blue roof with white edges that's going to blend in with the Downs perfectly. :amex:

He gave some good updates too-roof now fully under load and performed exactly as planned during to de-jacking. He loves his job.

Yes, I must say I enjoyed that bit too, and Gus's response to the banter about his Missus being on Twitter wnting to know where he was as dinner was ready. He was very good entertainment trying to say Haywards Heath eh?

Just got back from the Forum my question was about plans for youth development in the future, Poyet is really funny especially his comment about players only getting a rest in portugal on the sunday "after the fight" brilliant. There were a few wry smiles with Bloom/Poyet when mentioned about Simon Cox but could of meant anything i guess

That was My brother saying that!!! and there was me thinking he had a sensible question!

That was a great forum. I got the first question about needing a striker, what would happen if Barnes got injured. at the end of his comment Gus said he will hold me responsible. he's got a good memory too, everytime he spoke about a new striker after that he nodded back to me.

I got the chance to speak to Tony Bloom at the end. He's really excited about the stadium!

Really enjoyed that this evening.

The two things that really struck me tonight were:-

(1) Gus is bloody INSPIRATIONAL and if anybody can bring us success - he can.

(2) I thought Martin Perry looked like Sir Les Patterson (ish).

Marvelous Stuff. :amex:

Spoke to Ken Brown after the event

All seats at Falmer will be padded and will be blue :amex:

Tony said he is quietly confident that everything is in place for a serious assault on promotion.

Martin Perry said the 1901 contracts had to be looked over by the clubs solicitors and would be sent out shortly.

Gus was TOP entertainment :moo:

Ps. I asked about Lua Lua and Plan B

Yay! I nearly didn't mention it (what with me being sober & all - thanks to the bar being closed), but I'm glad I did now. Martin Perry, BHA Cultural Attaché. It's got a ring to it ain't it?!
