Yes, I was there. I asked the first question, and the one about where Dick and Micky expect us to finish this season.

Ken Brown has spent at least two days this week looking into out ticketing system and the one we are planning to use at Falmer.

You would have thought, as The Large One says, that he might have guessed a question would come up about season tickets.

I think my point about whether the increase in numbers has actually led to an increase in revenue is a valid one. With all the student deals it could be that the club has sold more tickets but made less money.

I would also suggest that if the club had sold a large number of extra tickets or made a considerable amount more money they would have been more than happy to shout the figures from the rooftops.

When i listened to the last 20 minutes of the forum on the radio tonight i listened to what Dick had to say and with most of the answers in that 20 minutes he lied

Dean hammond was prepared to stay with BHAFC and take a 50% pay cut on what colchester were offering

Dean Wilkins didn't leave in the way Dick has people believe - why was he so jumpy with the answers - he continued to lie

Can you honestly say that you are happy with a chairman that is happy to sack a manager that has taken us to 7th in the league

He sacked Dean because he went against what the great Dick Knight wanted at christmas and that was rid of Dean Hammond because he never rated him

Ask yourself why did Micky Adams leave Colchester in January - because after everything that had been caused by the Dick Knight interference in Dec/Jan Dick thought than Dean Wilkins would go on a losing run and then he could sack Dean and appoint Micky Adams to save the day - but it backfired and he couldn't very well sack Dean when we were doing well - If you look at all that happened on the day after he sacked Dean - he had been talking to Micky about the job for just a week - strange that was the day after Leeds had received the decision that they weren't getting their points back and we could definately not get in the playoffs with the 7th position they were talking about

What a two faced tosser that man is praises him for all the good work he has done over the season lets him release players and then 2 days later sacks him

Dick himself said on the radio tonight that he went to the board and told them what he wanted to do to Dean - that obviously suggests it was his idea

He then offers Dean Wilkins a job (under Dean White) which he thinks Dean Wilkins won't take - he then tells the fans Dean decided to leave the club and if you believe that you must be mad

If you all think that i am making this all up then think that but i have nothing to gain by telling lies - Let just wait and see what unfolds over the next few weeks because if it goes all wrong then Dean Wilkins and Ian Chapman will have the last laugh

I don't think you're quite right there. He said "I'm not going to give you the figures." That sounds to me like he does know but, for whatever reason, doesn't want to actually say.

That was my understanding of DK's response too; I thought it very puzzling.

It might be the way we heard it, but I read it as 'I can't give you the figures...'

Whatever, everything I've heard from the club is that we are ahead of last year's sales.

Bums on seats all the way. Better atmosphere = more chance of us winning. Plus it keeps those who do go happier, because there's nothing more depressing than a 4,500 crowd at Withdean. I'd rather have 8,000 in there even if they're all kids who've paid £1.

I was disappointed with the number of questions put to the panel. Had a couple of people like Brett, who was sat directly in front of me incidentally, not asked more than 1 question they would have struggled to make the show last an hour.

I cannot understand why people are getting up tight that DK didnt give numbers of season tickets what does it matter.

I also didnt hear any indication that Dean Hammond was prepared to accept a contract that was 50% of anything either his existing one or the one offered by Colchester many months ago. I did hear DK say that they left it to the very last moment to sell DH as the next day he would be worth nothing in transfer money.

I think that overall it was reasonable and much as I expected but at least some positive answers from MP.

It's amazing what you can make up when you put your mind to it.

You cannot back ANY of your contentions up. Unless you are Dean Hammond. Are you Dean Hammond? Are you Dean Hammond's agent? Are you Dean Wilkins? Are you Dick Knight?

If the answer to those four questions is 'NO', then you will not be taken seriously.

Yes, I would sack a manager who had finished 7th for any number of reasons. Managers have been sacked for doing far better than 7th.

Don't try and compare me with you, unless insecurity, misery and hopelessness are your forte. You might be the same 'social class' but for intellectual character, wit and insight, the comparison is pointless. You lose every time. Badly.

I even gave my full name when asking the questions. Seeing as you 'know me' so well, it ought to be obvious to you who I was. Clearly not.

To be fair, this may all be unsubrantiated drivel but it's no worse than the people who slavishly back DK in all he does, post on here.

It's obvious there is an agenda but no more than the one DK has. I feel we have a right to know a bit more than DK is telling us. The first full season in charge and Deano delivers a much leaner, fitter, more exciting squad that just, just miss out on play-offs and he gets the sack. We are Brighton remember. Not a big club, so that achievement is fantastic.

I think the pro-DW camp are entirely within their rights to feel aggrieved AND let DK know this. Especially if DK is being as cagey as he is.
