With eight Championship fixtures in March there's barely time to take a breather but there's another chance to get close to your club coming up with our Monday Night Football Q & A.

On Monday 12th March we will be opening the doors of Glaziers Bar for a brand new event, as David Wright and Owen Garvan answer your questions before we show Premier League heavyweights Arsenal and Newcastle go head-to-head.

The Q&A is the start a series of evenings that, if successful, the club are hoping to run on a regular basis. The evening will start at 6:30pm and entry will be free.

There will also be great food and drink offers on the night, and the classic, pizza and pint for £5.

EIGHT FANS
:clap2:

So their successful event led to all attendees sharing 2 pizzas?

I expect Old Twatty will be on later telling everyone how Brighton fans did not turn up to save their club and they did not care.
Well I have news for him, Palace Fans are not rallying to the call, CPFC210 asking for support on buying season tickets and supporting these events and 8 turn up. Thats wonderful !!!

You can't possibly be referring to me, the legend that is Watford O, Leyton orient fan, can you?

Thank you kind sir. I shall continue to fight the good fight

Made for good reading that thread yesterday, even OG had no reply to it and reverted to type.

Carry on, it is very funny to see them trying to deflect the truth about their support.

As discovered by relegatedeagle on BBS...

A pint with the lads? - CPFC BBS

It would appear CPFC2010 organised a meet-and-greet Fans Forum and quiz night at Selhurst Park last Monday night, also attended by a couple of Palace players (Garvan and Wright). A chance of "a beer with the lads", and an appeal for fans to come along and support the event.

8 fans turned up. EIGHT. :lolol:

The fan turnout was officially outnumbered by the STAFF at this "event" (9 staff and 2 players - Terry Byfield, Sharon from Marketing, 3 stewards, 2 bar staff, a person doing the pizzas, and Nico the catering manager). The planned quiz was knocked on the head due to lack of interest.

The excuses they are coming up with on BBS for this are almost as funny as the turnout itself. Oh, and don't bother trying to follow the original link advertising this "event" - its mysteriously disappeared and I can find no reference to it on the official Palace website where it appeared. Its like all references to it have been deleted from history. I wonder why ?

CPFC - the gift that just keeps on giving.

Disgraceful effort.

They could have had 2 teams of 4.

:clap::clap::clap:

No, although those results are not exactly what we wanted to see the only result that matters is finishing higher in the league, the league you so readily tell us we were going to get relegated from as we had no experience, League 1 players and all that.

A mid table team whose fans cant be bothered supporting their billionaire owners, who rescued them from their second administration?

Brighton fans have supported their club through thick & thin, marched signed petitions and gone through hoops to get a new home and finally we are on equal footing with resources and we are in the playoffs. Don't underestimate fan power.

although you couldn't save your ground? good effort but your fans couldnt be bothered when it really mattered. to be fair they were probably up at anfield watching the boys at the time.

form is temporary, class is permanent.

As usual your ignorance shines through, a club is more important than a ground. We survived without cheating.

Yepp, bet that will be the main fact in the history books.

FORGET the first game.
FORGET the first goal scorer.

The main fact in the history books will be "First team to beat us"... obviously.

Is it absolutely necessary to come on here and prove how brain-fryingly thick you are? I know it goes with the turf when you support (well, you and seven others) Palace, but we're talking 'suicide-watch' stupid.

form is temporary, class is permanent.

So much so you burned your own town down.
