Certainly Gary's blues dominant second half of his solo career did very well. Whether it exceeded Lizzy is debatable. As an aside did you know he is buried in Rottingdean?

Has had a great solo career but far more important as a collaborator and producer with more Great Artists / Bands than you can shake a stick at.

Also could be cited as the first really influential Ambient Musician.

On the other hand Lionel Richie did do Dancing on the Ceiling :lolol:
