Judith Chalmers - looking even more orange than Simon Jordan - on a flight to Portugal. Even more spookily, she was in the first restaurant that we went to on that trip - one miles from the hotel.

Peter Snow and George Robertson on a flight to Berlin

Tony Jacklin on a flight back from Dublin

I've always had an urge to get at Keith Harris with my plane so that I can shave a couple of inches off his nose and a good foot and a half off of Orville the Duck's head.

But in my dream they both usually settle for a light sanding and a buff up with a chamois leather.

Craig Cash, the bloke who plays Dave in The Royle Family.

He was sitting in the front row of business class, and we didn't know he was there until we heard him asking the crew for a drink. As soon as he spoke, you could see people looking up curiously, as his voice is exactly the same as in the programme.

I love the Paul Daniels story though, for some reason that is extremely funny. He's one of those people who always whines about the state of the country and threatens to leave, as though any of us would give a shit if he did.

when i was a baby (according to my mum) i was about 1 years old and flying back to england from switzerland and playing right up by all accounts, crying and shit.
my mother couldn't stop me crying so i was taken by members of the Bee-Gees who were also on the flight and apparently, they had me on their laps trying to stop and calm me down. :lolol:

Davina McCall on a flight from Manchester to Gatwick

Des Lynam when flying from Gatwick to Venice. He was sat right in front of me and had a right face on, had a bit of a go at the cabin crew when they told his missus she had to put her bag away for take-off. It was just after the Prescott decision (before LDC appealed) and I was going to have a chat with him about it but he looked well scary. Saw him again over the weekend in Venice getting his wallet emptied by his missus in a handbag shop.

And the strangest one - back in1996 on an internal flight in Mexico from Oaxaca to Mexico City, Ken Clarke (then Chancellor) was two rows in front. Apparently he'd been bird watching?!

Too far from the sun
A couple of years ago we joined the long check-in queue for our Monarch flight to Alicante immediately behind Chris Eubank with his wife and kids. Expecting him to give the 'don't you know who I am' bit I was gobsmacked that he just stood in line with everyone else trying to keep his kids in order. Eventually one of the check-in staff saw him and they ushered him over to another desk. He looked well embarrassed and actually apologised to the people in the queue in front of him.

We saw him later on during the flight signing autographs for people on the plane. Everyone seemed stunned that he wasn't acting like a prick but instead came across as a nice bloke.
