It might still be on the net but it's been abandoned and by posting the address on NSC it will get more attention it doesn't deserve and will later be picked up by Google etc etc.

To quote the site...
The Decision has finally come from the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister: He is calling for a new inquiry to look at all alternative sites. Planning inspector Mr Collyer who ran last year's public inquiry has found against siting the stadium at Falmer. The report is now available at the ODPM web site.
which dates the site to 2005?

Doug - with the near impossible chance of raising finance for so much money in the current credit climate, and with high interbank raters likely to prevail for most of next year - i'm going for the "2012 stadium"

also with the 2012 Olympics soaking up labour on large projects and infrastructure , that will bump up labour costs too !!

It is looking highly likely that Lewes will be promoted to the BSP at the end of the season, there is a mouthwatering prospect that there could be three Sussex teams there next season if Borough join them and Crawley remain there. Anyway, I was wondering if the local council will oppose any ground improvements necessary for Lewes to get promoted, if any are needed...God forbid that they might end up challenging for a place in the Football League.
