Drove past the Falmer site today & the farmer was ploughing his field where the stadium is going to be. Is he wasting his time or does he know something we dont?
It's currently owned by Brighton & Hove City Council, under an arrangement that allows the Albion to take over occupancy from the tenant farmer when work starts on the site.who is the land currently owned by??

Perhaps he is planning on planting some Doughnut trees so the builders don't have to go in to town for them whilst they are building the stadium?
Are you sure he wasn't planting some endangered/protected plants?

This is obviously a last ditch attempt by the" farmer "to not give in to the inevitable,"you can't dig this up it's got winter wheat growing in it." Or maybe he was trying to find a patch of sand to stick his head in.
