i was there and have now registered so that when people ask who i am i don't just say 'yeah, i am someone who just reads but doesn't post'. I thought, for what it is worth, that it went really well and we got great support from the passing cars, even the police. Enjoyed it. Cheers.

Well done everyone. Sorry I couldn't make it *sniff* * sneze* *atishoo*. Now I've had my cold for this year I am up for future efforts.

Nasty moment in chat room when said that I had texted Yorkie to find out how many were there and she said 500.

I didn't realise she was at Grimsby not Falmer.

Agreed: it was a brilliant afternoon in Falmer. Well done to Roz and Trotster for speaking to Hawsey and Harty respectively, to Beach Hut for dreaming up the idea in the first place and of course to Trigger and Safeway for hatching out their cunning plan - obtaining a photo of the landlord of the Swan behind the Falmer banner.
It was great putting some faces to names - everyone was so friendly. I will always be proud to be an Albion fan - just a pity about the score in Grimsby.

I was another one who was meeting you all for the first time today. Thanks to all of you who said hello, especially Beach Hut who let me share his radio. It was a great afternoon and I feel a bit better knowing I've done my "bit". It was a cold afternoon standing on that bridge and I think 50 was a good number, and yes it was good to see the amount of support we got from passing motorists, especially the police and ambulances, who'd have thought it eh!
Why anyone would want to come on this site and ridicule people for doing something they believe in is beyond me.Fine, if you dont want to join in then dont, but dont have a go at anyone who wants to. At least we can say we tried, whether we get the stadium or not.We are just trying to make sure that we keep this campaign high profile, thats all.I was glad I went today and to everyone else who was there I just want to say WELL DONE.

Just got in from a fantastic afternoon and a great evening. I'd like to say hello to everyone there today, the people I spoke to and especially the ones in the pub. I was gonna name you all but feared I'd miss someone out. You know who you were!
Thanks for making me welcome as I've only been posting for a week or so. Gr8 to see my mum in the photo (taken by Roz.)
Only one thing to say:

WE WANT FALMER!

Can't believe your so young Famous Grouse. You should have hung around coz I put all the money I had on me (£13.70) over the bar to quench the thirst of all the NSCers. Thanks to the bar maid for letting me off the rest!

What larks! A truly excellent day! It was great to meet all the people I didn't know (as well as the ones I did, of course!) And the support from all those cars was brilliant. Sorry I was so boring and didn't go onto the pub but I had an appointment with Photoshop!

I'll get those :drink: off you another day Grousey!

Excellent photos. I have been down in Sussex for two days visiting a sick relative in Brighton General and I passed by on the A27. I gave you all a toot and almost crashed the car looking upwards!! Well done everyone.
