Saying that the crane will take 42 lorries to take away on Sky Sports News does not do our "green credentials" any good does it?

Yeah I do like tec, was considering working for the club mediawise when i'm older. Dont have a capture card but normally burn footage onto rewritable dvd, rip it onto pc then youtube it, but didn't have time to get the dvd recorder up and running on this occasion

Think yourself lucky we didn't have the original crane still here. That needs about 70 lorries I think!

I quote from Mrs Cutress, objecting to the Club's planning application to eliminate the removal of chalk by lorries and relocate it locally on the south side of Village Way:-

"We have no concerns over the few extra vehicle movements per day to remove the spoil off site and neither did the Secretary of State. This will be a minimal addition to the traffic currently on Village Way".

If Falmer Parish Council thought that 12,532 HGV return journeys during the first phase of construction was "minimal", I guess 42 lorry movements is piffling.
