A current thread has intimated that Bloom wants to keep the 'North Stand' from being renamed under a sponsorship 'fo the fans'.

I know that this is tantamount to heresey bearing in mind the name of this forum but is that not going to make the name indistinguishable with 90% of other grounds that have the stand in the north named the 'North Stand'.

Without going down the route of attaching a sponsors name to it can we not call it something with a bit of spirit or a bit of history to distinguish it from all other 'NorthStands'?

I am thinking something along the lines of the [name] End. Something which hopefully can become universally known and assoaciated as as being part of or from Brighton & Hove albion F C.

E.g Trent End, Shed End, Stretford End etc...

I'd say it's too small to ever become "famous" and should just be called the north stand.

I like the idea carwash, The Goldstone end is about the only one i would support. Not sponsored but very close to the hearts of all Albion fans.
