Isn’t it sad that on the brink of VF day, the bitter and twisted NIMBY opposition to our decade-old fight have made sure that we cannot really celebrate? So long has this saga dragged on due to LDC and political incompetence, that even if we get a ‘Yes’ tomorrow, we can’t be sure that’s the end of it. Moreover, we’ve almost forgotten the real villains of the piece – Stanley, Archer and Bellotti!

So on the eve of VF day, who are the guilty parties that should be commemorated in toilet naming ceremonies because “never, in the field of community progress, have the needs of so many, been so spitefully obstructed, by so few?

Excellent point! Although when it really get to the motions (ahem ) I couldn't even place my botty on a loo that has any of the names Archer, Bellotti, Stanley, or any LDC members....eg. De Vecchi above it. My bum is far too precious to be in close contact with those names...
