Seems a bit pointless really, considering most of the people that have shown an interest have already stated that they sit in H block.
It would seem more logical to carry on in there and try and drown out the shit songs from the goons !

Don't really give a monkies where it happens as long as it does and judging by the interest on here it looks like it will.

I really hope people don't go off the idea over the summer because i've convinced myself to go down to the club shop on saturday and get my first ever season ticket. We can bitch and moan about Withdean being souless but ultimately it up to us fans, without being disrespectful to some of the home support, i'm fed up of sitting there in near silence, it's f***ing numbing and by the sounds of it there's plenty of others who feel the same.

Fair play lads, best of luck setting up the group, hopefully in the not to distant future the cup might through up a fixture between us - Would be good to see how quickly as a group you've grown, and what kinda atmosphere you've got.

When coming up with chants / banners / all thats sort of thing, don't rip anyone off - Come up with original material.

Just don't try and walk before you can run, some of the groups set up in the UK have taken years and years of hard work to get to where they are now.

Celtics Green Brigade lead the way IMO, check up some of their stuff, certainly inspiring.

In my rather humble opinion, H block would be really difficult to get in on. Purely because its already a singing section, and they have their rituals. J or B/C/D or the East stand get my vote. The East stand seems to have a few singers there anyway.

As the majority of people are in H Block. The easiest option is J Block.

Its been around loads of clubs, Blackpool and Morecambe are 2 i heard just this weekend. Change the words a bit, and its no different to singing "we're by far the greatest team" etc etc.
Hell of a lot better than any of the "dirty northern bastards" that SOME of H block spurt out every single week.

Reading the re-grouping/re-branding thread on the Blue Brigade forum, 'North Stand Ultras' seems like the best alternative to me. Simple, easy to remember.

For this to work however, it really needs to be a group of dedicated people who are totally committed to the cause, rather than half arsed people more intent on winding up away fans, moaning at stewards etc. If we're serious about setting up a real ultras group, it'll involve putting on shows and displays, big flags and various other things. Fair play to the scum, they've done it before and arguably it looks quite good. So have York, so there is no reason why this can't work. I for one, am most certainly in.

I'd be well up for getting involved. Only problem is the committment games-wise. I have a season ticket and will have one at Falmer, but getting to all games is another matter, sadly. If I'm there, though, home or away, I'd love to be involved.
