A pedant writes ...
It's a parish council, not a district council.
No doubt the Argus will phone Mrs Cutress and ask.So can you confirm that we should know what Falmer Parish Council attend to do by Wednesday.
Whatever they decide, you can bet your arse it won't be made public until the very end of the six-week conisderation period.
They need to find legal grounds to appeal on, not just because they don't like the decision. If LDC are claiming to want to work with us, surely FPC would be better of working with us as well. Otherwise they will be ostracising (sp?) themselves.I am sure they will appeal as they've been entrenched in their position for far too long, and the mentality and arrogance they have shown will not allow them to back down.
And it will cost them a lot of cash. Shame.

We'll have to wait and see.

Just one individual has had to pay £8000 in costs in the incinerator fight at High Court after having her case thrown out.
The case would be defended by the Government, not the Albion (unless FPC are as STUPID as LDC were last time - and name Brighton & Hove City Council and Brighton & Hove Albion Football Club Ltd as co-defendants).Why don't BHAFC hire the top Barrister in the uk? The costs would sting FDC when they lose
Any news from the meeting yet? Has the press and public been thrown out of the village hall by the Nimby police ready for the top secret lawyers report?
