When we're in our last season at the Withdean then fine, but it would be like telling the Anfield faithful they are "Stanley Park bound", when infact it's at least 4/5 years away.

Please stop it!

ok I'll stop!

:clap: You know it makes sense!!

Suggestions for a replacement commence....

"Sussex's only League Club"

"Welcome the pride of Sussex, Brighton and Hove Albion FC"

Or just plain simple "Brighton and Hove Albion"

Personally I'd rather have Paul Samrah than the comedy double act they had at Northampton (read, complete cocks) or the disinterested woman at Crewe (who kept saying 'your', eg. "your referee is...,", "here are your teams", "your fourth official is...").

The Falmer-bound thing is annoying though. I couldn't work out on Saturday whether he said "Our very own, Firmly Falmer Bound" or "Our very own Family, Falmer bound"

This isn't about Paul Samrah. He is a top bloke. Its about not constantly using the phrase Falmer bound when we are bloody miles away from it. Last six games of the final season at Withdean it can be brought back and I will greet it with a resounding cheer as I did the first time he said it after the yes decision, but its a long long way away at the moment, so lets concentrate on the present shall we.

No I know, but this wonderful thread has evolved and people were talking about him as well as his catchphrase so I thought I'd defend him.

Fair enough. Don't mind him doing the tannoy though as he is pretty good as well as being an Albion fan, but drop the wank aforementioned phrase!!!

If they announced "welcome the pride of sussex", i'd be expecting Sussex CCC to run out or even Katie Price:bowdown:
