I'm old enough to remember when there WAS a shop in Falmer village. It was on the corner of Mill St. and Park St.
There was also a small petrol station on the A27 before it was widened

Go into the Uni shop. Only 5-10 mins from the ground and little chance of any 'bigger boys' taxing your shoes around the Wild Park area...

East Slope bar do good grub and cheap too (the cafe in Bramber House looks a bit more flashy but is a rip off, steer clear).

Isn't Bramber House quite some distance from Falmer? I'm not sure they could walk there and back in the time they've got.

Maybe a game on conkers with your mate? Or whatever young scamps do these days.

Did you agree to this, Conkers?

2 U18's playing a game on you isn't your thing is it?

I have occasionally worked in the Co-op in Bramber House, and it is a 5 minute walk tops from the underpass.

Assuming you have a match ticket, you could use the free travel included with your ticket to hop on a train to Brighton, raid the co-op outside the station entrance for cans of pop and a Ginsters, then jump back on the train to Falmer. Might as well make the most of the complimentary travel on offer

Or free train to Lewes - easier to get back on a return train to Falmer from there

Get a train into Brighton station, 10-15 minutes or so, grab a fry up or something around the station. Hop on the train in reasonable time and be there 5-10 minutes before kick off.

That's what i'd do If I wasn't allowed in a pub.

As Ernest has said, a 10-15min walk from the stadium toward Brighton on Barcombe Rd which runs next to Lewis Rd is a small parade with a chip shop and Post Office/Londis (or something similar). On Google maps the post office is marked so you can look it up.

Lived in Brighton & Hove all my life and never heard of such a place.

Did you purposefully wait until my ability to edit timed out!?

I've got a nephew called Lewis, and have on occasion sent him a b'day card to 'Lewes'. Swings and roundabouts.

2 hours to spare. Get into Brighton and get to a Wetherspoons or Pav Tav, if you can't get served in there you must be under 14.

Weird question, but me and my mate are going to be arriving at the game on saturday about 2 hours early due to the coach, so I was wondering if there's any co-ops around or anything?

Thanks

The Amex located next to amenities, fcuk off that would imply that someone at the clubactualy put some thought into the location of the ground
