With regard to the OP's gripe, Channel 4 and the BBC would seem to me to qualify as Main Stream Media who actually have, in fact, covered it. Very well.

The OP started this thread in 2021. It’s obvious the 40th anniversary of the conflict would be covered more.

Wonder why he started it back then, then.....................you wouldn't really expect much of a spread for the 39th. anniversary, would you.

In my own strange world
My Great Uncle was involved in the first battle of the Falklands in 1914, he was an able seaman on H.M.S. Invincible, on the 50th. Anniversary he received a special presentation of stamps featuring all the ships that took part from the governor of the Falkland Islands.
