Add cyclists to the mix as well. I overtook around 20 people on my ride at the weekend and I'm not terribly fit.
I did the same....but then i was in my van

Give it 16 minutes...
Similarly all these Covid-19 cyclists that have been clogging up the cycle paths and roads these last six or so weeks. Either do it all year round or piss off and get out of the way of those of us that do.
This doesnt look as promising though

Well if you're on of those designer lycra clad, shaven legged road racers using the off road cycle lanes as their own personal fiefdom and charging along impatiently at speeds in excess of 20 mph with no means of alerting anyone of your presence then you can just do one. If the presence of more weekend cyclists and users has slowed you down, good. Use the ****ing road, the clue is in the generic term for your bike.

There has been a non-stop PARADE of people past our window over the last three weeks. A bit of rain this morning and no **** has been past in two hours.
I thought your daily exercise was essential?
I've not been paying huge amounts of attention since I posted that, but it seems to have not been raining here for a while now.
Well, quite. This attitude is pretty unfair / daft.
If Guinness Boy lived round these parts he could have seen me walking locally during the day, with my wife, on each of the last 20 days, having never witnessed that previously.
Because:
A. I don’t normally NEED to walk the streets for exercise / fresh air, as I would normally be playing football or cricket, twice a week.
B. During the day I’d normally be at flipping WORK.
As the old adage goes:-In these difficult times you should consider yourself lucky that you have a WINDOW.
Shirley we can all recognise that more people exercising can only be a good thing for all of us. Whether you are slow, fast, occasional or regular, Chopper or racer, jogger or marathon man it's all going to help address the obesity problem and therefore put less strain on the NHS in the long run. Be kind.
We still did our family walk at 8am. Took the boy out in wellies for his first experience of torrential rain!
The usual dog walkers on our route were out.
