Their fans were giving Welbeck pelters i.e "you're just a sh*t Ivan Toney". Hence after he scored, he doubtless enjoyed inviting them to "get that right up ye"

Big difference between a well-moderated fan site and the spotty teenage coke-sniffing contingent among the crowd. The same applies to our fan base too.

I found the weirdest thing about that “sing on our own” after 3 minutes was that it was their first song of the game!

Yes. And it came after an uncharacteristically loud and vocal start from the Amex crowd. The first time we'd gone quiet.
