I've been thinking. Seeings how Joe didn't quite make it as a footballer, and is taking cricket by STORM, notching a TON in both his one day debut AND his first class debut......

....can Hoppo play football, at all?........

Crickets a piss easy sport though. Hit a ball with a bat, chase and catch a ball. Caveman stuff.

Bit like football then.

Kick a baloon into a massive net. Easy.

It's looking like one of the greatest decisions ever. Leaving Albion after being ditched by Micky, missing a miserable relegation battle and going back to a sport which was always his first love and he's much better at and might play at a higher level.

Shame he picked footbal first really. Theres a chance he could have been playing for England by now if he hadn't.

As he said in the Argus recently, going back to cricket was always a possibility if it didn't work out with football, but it wouldn't work the other way round.

you really can't say that after scoring a couple of hundreds in friendlies, would just be like saying Maheta Molango should be playing in the premiership after seeing him scoring for fun pre season.
Lets see how he does when the season gets under way.
Good luck to him will be good to see him do well.
