I still can't believe that we have sent him and Barco out on loan. But if we've done that in order to develop them, I can't wait to see the 'developed' versions
The thing is, if he does do wonders for Leicester and is their shining light, will we see him in an Albion shirt again? As he has already proved himself in the prem
So he'll still be wearing blueHe'll be 20 years old next season so Yes we will
Unless someone wants to pay stupidly over the odds again
So he'll still be wearing blue
Yeah - it's his best position.Good as a 10. Scored again today
Value for money in my FPLGood job Buonanotte
I still find it strange that we loaned him out and spent £40m on Ruttner, a player with a seemingly lower ceiling, when we’ve ended up playing the two 8s effectively as 10s, in a role that would’ve suited Buonanotte down to the ground. But hey ho, there must be logic somewhere.Yeah - it's his best position.
Good loan for him.
Personally I’d love to have Barco back in January to test his metal here if we have a call back clause - I think it was a mistake sending him out on loan personally.Good job this loan is going so well as by all accounts the Barco one is going pear shaped
Valentín Barco offering 'no solution' for Sevilla right now - Brighton loanee in problem position - Sport Witness
Brighton & Hove Albion manager Fabian Hürzeler didn’t include Valentín Barco in his core plans at The Amex this season. This resulted in the left-back making a loan switch to Sevilla on August 23rd. The 20-year-old will have to compete with another summer signing, Adrià Pedrosa, for a place at...sportwitness.co.uk
We spent a lot of money to bring Ferdi in to play left back, along with Pervis. If the Sevilla loan remains pear-shaped, bring him back and loan him out to the Championship (or League 1 if no Championship option).Personally I’d love to have Barco back in January to test his metal here if we have a call back clause - I think it was a mistake sending him out on loan personally.
- we are look a bit lacking at the back at the moment too imo - especially with Van Hecke out (probably until after the international break) - with 5 international breaks this season, an extra defender wouldn’t hurt us.
The lad is an Argentinian international and currently playing in LaLiga - barely down to championship level let alone League 1.We spent a lot of money to bring Ferdi in to play left back, along with Pervis. If the Sevilla loan remains pear-shaped, bring him back and loan him out to the Championship (or League 1 if no Championship option).
Almost scored an instant goal of the season contender before his actual goal:
