Not mates of mine but as I have explained many times as a lad in the early 50s as young lads now follow Chelsea or Man City previously Liverpool and Man Utd I supported Brighton but followed the fortunes of Spurs but only went to White Hart Lane from my pub in London if it was a midweek game and Brighton were not playing. and this has stuck with me except I do not go to their games since moving out of London.
