I LOVE Fabio.

Everyone and their dog was slagging him off, saying "why can't he see Joe Cole HAS to start" "HAS to change from 442" "Cappello is clueles, he shud play Gerard and Rooney together" etc.

Did he bow to pressure? Did he bollocks. He did it his way, which as usual, turned out to be the right way. He is a WINNER, pure and simple.

Seeing him and the players at the final whistle was fantastic too, looked a strong unit. IF Rooney scores against Germany, I will start to properly believe.

We can get somewhere in this World Cup.

i like the way that the 'pundits' who are failed managers (southgate etc.) criticise his decisions

there's a reason why capello is really good at being a football manager, and gareth southgate is really shit, and it's because capello knows more

I'D LOVE TO SEE YOU DO ANY BETTER GARETH YOU RUDDY HORSEFACE PLUM!

Which he's already tried in friendlies, and it failed epically.

Indeed, People just wont let it go though will they.

Its the same with Cole who didnt look close to being match fit.

I didn't see anyone calling for Capello to go, to be fair.

Anyone who did is a complete and utter tool.

I think he is Sven in Italian designer glasses.

But i am desperate for him to prove me wrong. I will gladly hand out some Capello love if he delivers.

Capello has the distinction of winning the domestic league title with every club he has coached throughout his career. In his first five seasons as a manager he won four Serie A titles with Milan, where he also won the 1993–94 UEFA Champions League, defeating Barcelona 4-0 in a memorable final. He then spent a year at Real Madrid, where he won the La Liga title at his first attempt, and in 2001 led Roma to their first league title in 18 years. Capello also won two titles at Juventus (which were later stripped after the Calciopoli scandal), and in 2006 returned to Real Madrid, where he won another La Liga title. Overall he has won a major league championship in seven (or nine, counting the two revoked titles with Juventus) of his 16 seasons as a coach, and is one of the few managers to claim championship victories in four major European cities: Milan, Madrid, Rome, and Turin

Who the hell wants Capello out??

media hype before yesterdays game. Stories of him wanting to walk out, Saying he has lost the dressing room, Time for change, Players cant cope under his STRICT dictatorship etc.

Now the press are celebrating victorious England over a team ranked 25 in the World and consisted of us taking the ball to the corner flags for the last 5 minutes. HEROES

Unless it's rooney putting in a bad performance

hehe

Seriously if we put out a piss poor performance against the Germans and go out he would have to go...

What would have changed since the days of Sven if that were to happen ?

I dont see a great deal of difference, our style of play hasnt changed.

As i said though...we will win and play awesome against the Germans. Rooney will come good and we will rock on to the Qtrs v Argentina...god i want to beat them too.
