Disgusting challenge from a filthy player on a young lad. He has unpunished history of this to so no surprise he once again gets away with it.
Not sure about that. He is no where near the ball and goes straight through him, the same way he did to Silva. Definitely looks to deliberately wipe him out. Only he knows but given his got history. Officials are too lenient, even more since the big boys tried the breakaway...
Of course it was deliberate, he was nowhere near the ball and couldn't' get it from there. It wasn't deliberate. You can tell by his immediate reaction. He's expecting the red too. That's the issue here.
I concur - rush of blood to the head with little thought of the potential consequences. Shameful.Of course it was deliberate, he was nowhere near the ball and couldn't' get it from there.
Disagree. Deliberate, filthy. The "Mea Culpa" got him the yellow instead of the deserved red.It wasn't deliberate. You can tell by his immediate reaction. He's expecting the red too. That's the issue here.
It's possible it wasn't deliberately blatant (ie, he hoped to disguise it better). But it looks like the foul is deliberate. And he's out of control. It's a clear straight red.It wasn't deliberate. You can tell by his immediate reaction. He's expecting the red too. That's the issue here.
He looked sorry that he was about to get sent offI don't think he did it on purpose and I actually thought he looked sorry for doing it.
What's the issue? It wasn't deliberate. You can tell by his immediate reaction. He's expecting the red too. That's the issue here.
Yeah this.He looked sorry that he was about to get sent off
Apologies, but fixed. I don't remember one of our players ever getting away with it.Yeah this.
Unfortunately it's the same look that ref's see as "Wow a Big 6 superstar is appealing to me for leniency. Aw, ok then mate."
