I’m still not convinced but will happily be proved wrong and tonight he did. Good team selection and most importantly excellent substitutions which meant we never lost control of the game. Would like us create a few more chances but tonight’s not the game for that given Chelsea’s quality.

I think the Fab in/out threads and over reactions to good and bad results are totally understandable.

We’re all a little bit unsure about how to react as in all honesty we’re carrying out a bit of an experiment that hasn’t been done before. There’s been hardly any other example of a high profile club (which we are these days) who have enjoyed recent success, taking such a punt on such a young, relatively inexperienced manager/head coach.

I’ve never gone so back and forth regarding a manager in my life and still don’t really know what to think! I’m hoping with hindsight, in years to come, we look back on this period as an obviously rocky period in the early days of a very successful period in our history under a manager learning on the job.
