You posted that some journalist has confirmed the signing on Twitter (one of the worst social media sites going as you can't always separate the lies from the truth).

Most people understand that that is jumping the gun and some would prefer to wait for the club to confirm it.

I posted that I would only wait to hear it from Tony personally as he is the only one I'll trust (*)

You responded that "I was quashing your joy and dismissing your point" in one of your lengthy responses

So my thinking was:
a) you over reacted - the situation didn't need a really long post of a response and I wasn't dismissing your joy or even anything close
b) this (*) marks the jokey post

Sorry looks like you edited your post to add a second sentence. In answer, I am neither happy nor sad, we are greater than the sum of our parts. As long as the culture at our club (which I'm proud of) remains, then I'm happy with whomever is the manager.
