I'd probably say Kaoru is our second-best-suited wide-forward profile (after Pedro of course) & after looking at a few heatmaps for SP it seems as though his left and right forwards still hold a fair bit of width, suggesting Mitoma will fit just fine. I think Mitoma at LWB would be a real waste of his offensive talent

Didn’t say that. Sign the guy by all means. Then we can get excited when he’s managed to implement his tactics in a vastly superior league.
I don’t think it is the right time to slag Hürzeler before he has even joined the club. I’m excited to see what he can do. As supporters, we should back the new manager, especially as it is a new experience for him.

He has a plan for defending in which his players sit back and pick the right time to intercept rather than running around like headless chickens pressing and chasing a ball that they are not likely to win.
This is exciting stuff.
But he’ll be straight into the transfer window business before he gets to meet the players properly. A huge challenge for him knowing what he requires player wise. However, I’d guess that the club have already analysed the type of players he needs and will be after them this Friday.
Another huge and massive bonus is that his formations are designed for wingbacks. Barco is going to look much better than he did under De Zerbi, it would be nice to see Pervis thrive when he recovers too. We just need to replicate that strength on the right side with a fantastic purchase or two in the next few months.

If the Mighty Wurlitzer is smart enough to have multiple Plans, then I'm pretty sure he's smart enough to adapt one of those Plans near the top of the list to incorporate a mercurial talent like Mitoma. Always assuming Mitoma's still here of course

there seem to be some that think by having Fabian as manager we are doing the same to St Pauli as Chelsea did to us, but the situation is entirely different. People seem to forget that in order to have anyone sign for the club, they have to leave somewhere else first, other than those rare occasions when top managers or players are unemployed. (De Zerbie for example)
Chelsea came in and took our manager 5 (?) games into the season, potentially leaving us well anbd truly up the creek. with no time to look for let alone put in place a new cooaching structure. Chelsea also took long established coaching and other staff not just those that normally move with a manager (assistant,and a couple of others)
The situation with St Paulie is fundamentally different, as it would have been with Ipswich. Its at the end of the season, well before pre season starts, We are not taking the whole footballing structure as chelsea tried.
St Pauli fans will be rightly upset and disapointed but possibly not that surprised at loosing their manager to a percieved that a "bigger" club which is very understandable but in no way compares to the chelsea raid on us
