A 3 at the back version of RDZ, with knowledge of the German market sounds good but what did he do before St Pauli? (Genuine question)
He was at primary school

A fiery character who has been racking up yellow cards for dissent for fun since his playing days, Hürzeler has also cited Oliver Glasner, Gian Piero Gasperini and Diego Simeone as inspirations.

Thank god. Was beginning to worry he was a wet lettuce lefty !!

Interesting that you appear to have definitive information regarding future event potentialities. Must be nice.
I don't. I was responding to someone who said that even if potter was the best choice they wouldn't want them. Which seems like an odd stance.

I am not saying anything about the potential candidates, just responding to their hypothetical.

This talk of ignore buttons which I have never used. I find I am quite able to ignore the idiots and trolls fairly easily. I just skim past them although occasionally I put in a laughing emoji. It amuses me! As for threads, I don’t open them like F1 for instance. It keeps my blood pressure level which is important to me. :D

I’m intrigued by this coach, Fabian Hurzeler. I don’t know much about him but from the majority of comments on NSC, he sounds like an exciting appointment! Time will tell however. Let’s hope he lives up to the fans’ (high) expectations. I wish Hurzeler the best of luck at Brighton & Hove Albion!

The dull part of the south coast
But we were told McKenna was nailed on 3 weeks ago by several media outlets, now he's staying at Ipswich.

I won't take any notice re media speculation until the club make an official announcement.
I never thought McKenna was ‘nailed on’. We obviously showed interest, and presumably had discussions, but with Chelsea and Man Utd sniffing around and that Ipswich were playing ‘the loyalty card’ made it a difficult acquisition. The media and various pundits had stated that Brighton was definitely the club that would be the most suitable for McKenna but that bit the dust when he extended his contract with Ipswich.

I think coming from St Pauli it’s the fans that need to live up to his expectations!

Indeed. However, Roberto De Zerbi has certainly set the bar high! I hope that doesn’t put too much pressure on the young coach. Luckily, our club is more forgiving than others (Chelsea, Man Utd, etc.)
