Ooh, look at you and your poshness!I would go with more like Hugher-tsler judging by the umlauts and my O'level German (Grade 3 I'll have you know).
Sure his CV is thin, but if we'd wanted a quiet life, we'd have given Potter whatever it took to get him to sign. Why has this thread become some happy clappy place where if you don't demonstrate unwavering support for Huzeler you're silenced?
Nothing wrong with questioning whether this guy has the credentials to manage a team aiming for the top half Premier League because his CV is undoubtedly thin.

I stand corrected.Nope, we beat Leicester 5-2 on 4th September, he left on 8th September
Andy Naylor had McKenna at the top of our list in his piece in The Athletic about De Zerbi at Bournemouth and PBOBE's two computers. Doesn't mean it's 100% true, of course, but does mean that at the least that's what the club or an agent fed him.In fact how do you know McKenna was even considered? The club have said nothing whatsoever about who they are or aren't considering and everything including Potter, Mckenna, Huzela, Cooper, Kompany et al has been entirely media and social media speculation.
Exactly right. So many people on here making statements, and then digging the club out for whatever that made up thing is, based on something they can’t possibly have any factual evidence for. IF we appoint this guy, it might work out, or it might not. But all this ‘oh what a shambles it is that Potter’s turned us down & now we’re onto our 87th choice’ stuff is utter nonsense.More to the point, does anyone even know if he wasn't first choice? Or even if Bloom has one single 1st choice?
So much speculation on this thread that seems entirely fueled by media guff (including this link). The fact is, and it is a fact, nobody on NSC actually has access to Bloom's data, nobody in the media does either. Can't there just be a little patience and trust that it'll probably all work out in the end?
There were a couple yesterday, but they got shot down over the ChannelAny incoming flights to Biggin Hill or Brighton City airport over the weekend from Hamburg ?
McKennB?How do you know he wasn’t 2nd choice to McKenna?
JeezIt would have been more comforting if he was second choice to McKenna not scratching about on You tube searching for a good young manager in Europe.
It might work out great until Kompany is a disaster at Bayern or Chelsea get jealous.
No idea I was jokingHow do you know he wasn’t 2nd choice to McKenna?
It is an interesting list, but I'm not sure its all that relevant here. How strong / accomplished / affluent the clubs in a league are, in comparison to other leagues, is far less relevant than how strong a club is to its direct peers - and what their manager has done with the hand he's been dealt.Bundesliga 2 ranked 20th best league in the world. 4 places above the Swedish top league according to this.
Top 20 leagues in the world ranked by how good they are - no Saudi Pro League
The Saudi Pro League is only the 33rd best league in the world right now despite all the signings 🤯www.givemesport.com

Winning the 20th strongest league with a team who had say only the 10th highest budget within it, is a far better judge of a manager's performance, than coming third in a much stronger league, if you were comfortably the richest and most powerful club within that.
