Relax fella.

Not gonna happen...

No such thing as a lovely Portslade girl.
It’s UP AND COMING and you’re going have a queue of angry 40 and 50 something ex ravers in Cath Kidson headscarves and dungarees wanting to furiously TALK AT YOU over an organic ice cream.

When the news was announced by the Telegraph that FH was on the shortlist - within hours this thread was the 4th or 5th hit when just googling Fabian Hürzeler - it stayed like that for several days as activity on the thread increased which I thought was pretty impressive considering all the mainstream media and sports pundits were reporting FH was the favoured candidate too by then.

Northstand chat is now about the 25th site in the search algorithms but that’s still a lot of traffic being directed to NSC so @Bozza must be pleased 😀

Good they quoted the Poll that was carried out while other candidates were still apparently on the list - I closed it when we knew FH was the likely to be the one and we knew were no other known candidates in the running - that’s the sort of positive news that you hope gets gets back to the Club.

If I asked the same poll questions now we’ve signed, and no one else is being considered I think the ‘yes’ votes would be higher

I voted Don't Know because I didnt at the time when the thread started. Since reading the subsequent links posted in here to various articles and YT video's to would definitly change my vote to:

There's a difference between leaving your club in the close season to go to a different country and leaving your club 6 games into a season to go to another club you were actively competing with.

I never blamed Potty for going to Chelsea, it was a good opportunity for him. He didn't handle it well though, and the fact that Chelsea kept poaching more and more just made it worse.

But the fact they poached the lot meant that all RDZ’s crew could come in.

and to be fair, the likes of Bruno would quite possibly not have been guaranteed a job for precisely that reason.

  • I agree Sami didn’t work out but I seem to remember he had a very good Asst Manager who a lot of people said was the brains of the partnership. He didn’t come with Same who subsequently got found out. So TB only partly got it wrong even then.
Sacha Lewandowski was in joint charge with Sami, at Leverkusen, rather than his assistant.

With the benefit of hindsight, it’s probably just as well he never came to us, given later revelations. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sascha_Lewandowski

Not the last time I checked, but I can't see my bits any more, so anything could have happened.

Have you considered this scenario - Fab meets a lovely Portslade girl, but she tires of Brighton, and wants to live in Chelsea instead?

Nightmare.
he could commute.
