Was wondering too. Sounds like he moved from the states very early.
No doubt he has better English than most of us by default of being a European.

I watched an interview in English with him, will see if I can did it out, wasn’t native speaker clearly but prob on a par with where RDZ ended up and assume would improve

That's a lot better than RDZ. That's pretty much fluent. The way he uses 'soccer' when describing the US football is pretty sophisticated.

Indeed !! One of my bugbears about RDZ was his poor English even after nearly 2 years here. Just took that as arrogance again. Or not as smart as he thought he was.
