Isn't that why they are are interviewed?

You’d hope so but Interviews don’t stop managers walking out at the first better offer, or forecast poor performances due to extraneous circumstances or stop breakdowns in relationships when under increased pressure - there’s only so much an interview can guarantee you.

I’m not the one ITK here - like @Stato , I’m just some insignificant voice on an internet forum. I don’t know the process of interviewing for a new manager at a football club, I was making observations about what happens in the general job market that the first person interviewed is not necessarily the most preferred candidate.

The tattoos have just made me even more hopeful this is our guy. From knee slides and Stone Island to black t-shirts and mad, rocker tats. Yes please.

If Graham Potter got a tattoo the writing would be in beige and it would say “it is what it is”.

I dislike the fella more and more, so glad he is not coming back.

I suspect it is tactical, in that he can put it out there that he is not interested implying that we have approached him and keeping his name relevant and current, also saying he is better than us.

I do tend to read too much into things sometimes though, so ignore me, I am probably way off the mark.

I’m not getting carried away, but this might be the MOST rock and roll of appointments…

For me this is a bit like when Ritchie Blackmore left Purps (the first time, ahem) and up rocked this young gun from the US … Tommy Bolin… sure it ended in a drug addled sea of coke and heroin… but when it cooked, it really cooked…

Some will call for Ritchie, some will never get it… but if you open your ears to the groove, you’ll be dancing to the rock and roll before you know it!
