You’d hope so but Interviews don’t stop managers walking out at the first better offer, or forecast poor performances due to extraneous circumstances or stop breakdowns in relationships when under increased pressure - there’s only so much an interview can guarantee you.Isn't that why they are are interviewed?
I’m not the one ITK here - like @Stato , I’m just some insignificant voice on an internet forum. I don’t know the process of interviewing for a new manager at a football club, I was making observations about what happens in the general job market that the first person interviewed is not necessarily the most preferred candidate.
