I have yet to warm to him like I did RDZ on his introduction, bit too Germanic for me

I am always suspicious of people who say all the right things on introduction :lolol:

Keeping my powder dry for the moment.

Has my full backing though obviously.
Behind the scenes and with the mic off Fabian apparently said that Brighton were a load of shit. The players were complete wankers and the fans were hopeless no-mark tossers. He also said he’d take the money and piss off back to Germany as soon as poss.

There, that do you?

Done a Frexit, now in London
A bit, but it's far more expensive and difficult to stream anything live than to record and upload (especially with multiple mics etc.). And for the audience that it would bring live (maybe a few hundred on a Tuesday morning whilst most are at work) it is probably nowhere near worth the time, money or effort in doing.

Not at all. all mics into a mixer into a Mac running stream yard linked to YouTube.

I ran a few livestreams for very famous people in the past, it's super easy to do.

I wonder what his catch phrase will be?

Gus had: ees complicated
Hughton had: these are a good team
Potter had: it is what it is
Rdz had: hot blood and big balls(although I'm not sure he actually said it that often)

What saying or phrase will Fabian bec known for?
Es ist wie es ist, ja?

He labels himself (as usual done by his management) as "the grounded one". 7 yellow cards in one season is far away from being grounded, the comparison to Klopp is just lame. Glad we got Blessin for him.

Have you ever not felt that way during a new managers first press conference?
i think everyone feels different, Sami thought was a strange appointment at the time and did not fill you with confidence early on, Potter I was nervously optimistic about but didn’t generate much excitement, RDZ felt very Gus and was exciting and loved the way he talked the clubs expectations up but think from first impressions we always knew it was going to be a short term rollercoaster. This guy comes across as exactly what we need he has the focus and maturity of potter but with the drive and passion of RDZ that’s why I am excited. I was nervous with a young experienced coach being appointed but he seems mature well beyond his years and seems well up to speed with what we are about.

As I say time will tell but something feels very right about this appointment and really looking forward to seeing what ideas he brings.

Weeks ago, I was reading an article and recall now that it referred to one of Hürzeler‘s well known catchphrases at St Pauli being “Durchlaufen!" which means "Follow through" - for Hürzeler I think it might have meant several things, including when on the pitch, always ‘follow through’ with the ‘plan’.

Jack Stern is reportedly staying as GK coach (2 GK coaches ? )
We’ve always had at least 2 coaches for the senior squad. Stern was brought in to work under Ben Roberts, a few months after it was announced Casper Ankergren would be leaving the club.

He continued to work alongside Ricard Segarra in RDZs setup and will no doubt do the same with the new coach.

Crofts and Stern provide some good stability and insight into the squad for the new coaching team, as well as trusted faces who can help with players buying into the Fabs ideas etc.
