Look at the results. The sheer amount of luck to win those games is astounding. The team can’t play a full 90 minutes or anywhere close to a high standard. They’re being bailed by the fact that the league is so open this year

If you look our results we have been very lucky with some wins

Something along the lines of us finally clicking and going on an incredible run of results, scoring loads of goals, which was only ended when Chelsea poached most of the coaching team.

Yes. Hurzeler was absolutely in no way responsible for setting up a team that looked completely comfortable in getting the scoreline to 2-nil in the first place. But entirely at blame for the defence switching off at 2-0 and Igor having a brain fart at 2-1.

I’d say we appointed one for the future rather than moment. Always risky, but then so are established names. I think we’ll see FH become a better manager in next few seasons rather than expect him to be now. The downside of that is always if he does become better sooner then others will nick him. Therefore appointing someone with potential rather than proven is always a double edged sword. Ain’t that football throughout though?

I agree to an extent, but I do think that subbing another defender on and messing around with you back line at any stage of the game is asking for trouble when you’re holding a lead.

Let’s hope he learns quickly. I do still think that it will eventually click.

The one thing I don't understand is why we went big in the transfer market at the same time as appointing an inexperienced manager.

Either is fine in isolation. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for giving a young and unproven player or manager a chance and time to improve. But why then spend £200m, which suggests we are after instant results?
