You can get the Thameslink from Brighton to st Pancras then from Kings X to Peterborough and change for Norwich.

No trains to Cambridge from Brighton afaik. or from Liverpool St to Norwich.

Hence the suggestion to go to Peterborough from Kings X then from Peterborough to Norwich - (which adds about 30 mins onto the journey)

Weirdly I looked as it seemed far fetched but they never seem to play at home on the same day so maybe it’s true?

That’s why I am saying go to Peterborough from King’s X on the LNER Leeds train - it is a different line than the Cambridge train. (In fact looking at Trainline, the train to Peterborough from King’s X is direct and takes the same amount as time as the slow train to Cambridge)

The Thameslink from Brighton will take you to St Pancras/King’s Cross.

It’s my area and I have used all these routes - there’s frequent engineering works on the Cambridge London stretch
