Honestly that’s a hilarious free kick, what a colossal waste of money he’s been

To be fair, Chelsea are much improved. That said, I think that if you take Palmer out of the team, they’re hardly any better than anyone in the PL from 12th place upwards. Miles from being a top 4 challenger, never mind the title. Given what they’ve spent, that’s ridiculous.

And hilarious.

Billion pound bottle jobs.

Hilarious if they miss out on Europe again.

City have dug deep there. The key was Doku - he has far more appetite to take his man on and get to the byline than Grealish, so no surprise he combined with De Bruyne and Bernarno Silva for the goal.

Let the Chelsea recriminations commence.

Pep will soon coach that out of him

Shearer actually had the guts to challenge him. Really surprising. As with Ferguson, Guardiola is usually treated with kid gloves by a sycophantic media.

Aren’t they now doing a Derby County, to get round it, ‘selling’ a hotel to a group company to lie that the club broke even.
As Kieran Maguire pointed out on his podcast, selling something from one part of the organisation to another simply doesn’t make it richer overall - so that’s something to be looked into. And one of the papers today was reporting that £43.7m of the supposed ‘profit’ is not explained in the accounts. It feels like this story isn’t quite over when other clubs have been suffering points deductions.
