Need to be up at 01.00 for a system migration on the 24th & can't get out of it! The first day of a 1 year migration. 🤬 Was about to book the premier in, but thought I better check the work calendar. Of all bloody days. Its going to be a long day and no 🍺☹️Premier inn is the go to if anyone's looking for a nearby hotel at a decent rate...

I would argue this isn't the case at all, we no longer have a waiting list for season tickets, the usual allocation is 35,000 so anyone that wants a ticket can go
You can argue that as much as you like but as a non STH or Albion+ member, in 2019 I couldn't get tickets. As a non STH or Albion+ member today, getting a pair (let alone 3, as I have 2 Jnr's) of tickets once it goes down to purchase history is no easy feat, you literally have to 'look' at the ticket site at the 'right' time. As I said, the ticket exchange on some matches isn't opening for non members. I buy most of my tickets on the exchange as it's a case of 'go to a match when I have spare cash', which isn't often & I can't justify spending the money that I may have for membership, as that would mean I have less money to be able to afford match tickets for myself & jnr.
Yes false economy but it goes back to the analogy of having enough cash upfront to buy a decent pair of boots that will last 10 years, or keep having to buy shit boots that only stay waterproof for a year & it costing far more in the long run because you keep having to buy more pairs.
There probably isn't a waiting list for STH's anymore, I don't know as it's not something I could afford. I do know that as we now have 'world class' players (Dunk & Solly have always been 'world class' in my eyes) my friend from Coventry who I was having banter with when we met with them in a cup round, told me last week that he had tickets to todays game.
I am fully aware that I sound like a bitter and twisted old cow but that Coventry game years ago was one of the few I could take my juniors to see as it was cheap. It is still cheap but you can't get tickets!! My Jnr's have been brought up properly to be Albion through and through to the point they've been bullied for it at school. Complicated to explain but my Jnr went today with the same kid who bullied him for being a BHA supporter 10 years ago.
It is brilliant that our fan base has expanded so much, but on the other hand I wish they'd f**k off so I could still get tickets for me & jnr's to see 'little ole Brighton' play. :lolol:

I'm pretty certain they went on sale for non-members eventually. I had an Albion+plus and got a ticket and then got more at a later date (as the first was a risk with my vertigo) and sold my original to someone just before they went on sale to non members
I don't know about that as I needed 3 tickets together, that's the difficult part, even getting 2 together is difficult at the moment with purchase history only.

Incredible result all round. My missus, devoted fan of 50 years standing, has a big party for her 60th on the Saturday 22nd. About a third of her guests would be going to Wembley! She was so stressed about it, she chose not to go to the game today.

Obviously avoid City was the key - we got the middle one. Tough ask, but we’ll enjoy the day regardless!

It will be good if tier 1 is all STH as who doesn't love an on line queuing system, as you sit watching about six different devices to see which one gets you in first.

For the final a decent proportion go to grassroots and people working for local FAs
