FA Cup Semi Final goals

As requested by Simster, here they are. Be aware they are both around 8-9MB as I have used a bigger size to do them justice. You can watch these full screen quite well.

BTW - This shows the quality you will get from the DVD Boxset. These have been halved in size and compressed so you can see that the originals are very good quality if this is the output from aggressive compression and halving the size.

Commercial over! :lolol: About a third of the DVD's are burnt so they should be ready in a week or 2.

Case!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Robinson!!!!!

Both uploaded now!

I get a Windoze Media Player error with the 2nd file... but the first is just like being there all over again.

The state of the pitch is amazing too!

DVD boxset! have I missed something? Where can I get this boxset or is an unofficial production?

Unofficial - I'm putting together a 4 DVD set with full Grandstand coverage of the Cup Final, highlights of the Semi and the full match of the Liverpool cup game the season after - all thanks to Ernest's videos.

I'm in the process of putting these together and they should be ready in a couple of weeks. They will probably be around £15 inc postage with approx £10 going to Alive & Kicking.

Look out for a thread in a couple of weeks if you are interested. I'm making 50 to start with and will do more if needed.

I was right behind the goal (about 10 steps up) when Case nailed that free kick.

Embarrassingly, the highlight of my day was finding a £1 NOTE outside Highbury & buying a Hot Dog for me & my brother @ 50p a pop. (This was AFTER the game aswell  ).

I was only 14 tho & a quid was serious dough then.

(I remember I was watching Lewes play when the draw for the FA Cup Semi's was made & jumping around as Sheff. Wed. were a Div. 2 team at the time)) Ahhh...Dripping Pan memories....

Isn't it haunting when you look at Robinsons goal?

A shot from Smith off the goaly & then Smith playing it square to Robinson to score?

FA Cup final anyone??

Believe it or not that is the first time I have seen both goals, thank you very much for taking the time and effort. The free kick was amazing and the pace and incisiveness of the second goal was as good as anything that the modern Arsenal team serve up at Highbury.

What a quality player Gordon Smith was. Why did we let him go when we did? :nono:

A true Albion legend.

I'll never forget the disgraceful treatment he received when he came down one Tuesday night in 85 or 86 with Oldham. Some people have very short memories.
