Worst away day easily.
Can't use the pubs in the town. Two pubs on the way to the ground ( that's if they still exist !!)
Cross country train with only 4 carriages all the way up which means it's rammed from Reading onwards and the same on the way back.
Going to be pissing down or Minus 7 at the most.
I'm in 👌🔵⚪

Thankfully Port Vale have been drawn away so it should be on the Saturday.

But I honestly think it could be on TV. Without sounding arrogant we are one of the best sides in the country now and there aren't too many ties that stick out apart from Arsenal v Liverpool, Sunderland v Newcastle and Wigan v Man Utd. Four days is a long time to cover matches from Friday night to the Monday night. We must have a chance.

London clubs drawn at home:

(deep breath)

AFC Wimbledon or Ramsgate v Ipswich Town.
Arsenal v Liverpool.
Brentford v Wolves.
Chelsea v Preston North End.
Crystal Palace v Everton.
Fulham v Rotherham.
Millwall v Leicester City.
Newport County or Barnet v Eastleigh.
QPR v Bournemouth.
 Tottenham v Burnley.
West Ham v Bristol City.

That's a busy old day for the Metropolitan Police.

I can't see the Palace/Millwall games being played on the same day

Stuffed if I'm going to City again, I say, until the tickets are released

I wonder who Man U will get at home?

They have been drawn at home in every FA Cup third round since 2015. Must be some sort of record. EDIT: Cambridge United once had ten successive FA Cup home. matches.

The downside being that the last four have been against Premier League sides.

So it's away to us this year.

A further look shows that the last 10 matches United have played across the League Cup & FA Cup, where possible, have all been at home.
Just seen - AWAY.

At Wigan...

Fulham and Chelsea are a tube stop apart, both drawn at home - and played on the same night in the league cup last month!
Fulham are quite a friendly club
I was thinking more of the Millwall/Everton business a couple of seasons ago
