Thats madness.
I don't want us to lose to Woking, and I'm pretty confident we're good enough to win both anyway. But if we had to lose one and I was given a straight choice, then another 3 points tomorrow night absolutely HAS to be the priority. No brainer.
It's not madness, it's my opinion. What is this obssession with winning every single league game anyway? There's more to football than just accumulating league points. In the 'old days' league games were just the humdrum ten-a-penny matches that filled in the time between cup games.

Sorry, I wasn't implying that you are actually mad.
But this season above all others, promotion would be absolutely maHOOsive for this club. To launch that new stadium into the Championship rather than the third division would be truley amazing. Its just where everyone wants to be.

Promotion and success in the cup arn't mutually exclusive obviously, but if I had to make a choice choosing either three points tonight OR the 2nd round of the FA Cup, I don't even have to blink before answering that one.

I'd like us to progress. It's the FA Cup. It is the only cup competition worth taking note of. Getting the big glamour tie still has an allure. I'd like to think it won't distract us in the same way it distracted Leeds last year, I think Poyet has a strong enough grip on the squad to ensure that does not happen.

Should we get past Woking and R2 opponents I would be interested to see how we'd fare against top flight opposition, if we are serious about promotion it would be good to test ourselves asap. Plus this competition is good for a few quid and it may help out with any January squad strengthening.
