It's only the fifth round and tonight's game v Villa is the third Man City match they've broadcast live. When all the other teams competed in the Fifth Round, they inexplicably chose Man City v Notts County in a fourth round replay instead of another tie. It's not as tho they need the money is it? Can someone else please cover the FA Cup next season?

Nevermind that; why has Southgate got a tie pin on at the top of his tie? Surely the idea of a tie pin is to stop it flapping all about in the wind and should be worn further down? Or is this a new fashion Im not privvy to?

He knew where it should be placed, but had little control of where it actually ended up.

Another quality ITV production graced by the Light Blue Mercinaries! Oh, & well done Mr Houllier for fully respecting the traditions of both the FA Cup & Aston Villa tonight. It's great to see you rewarded Villa supporters & lovers of the beautiful game by taking the match so seriously. What a guy!

Chuckled when the villa fans kept the balls

Yeah, me too. 'Twas even funnier when a replacement was finally kicked onto the pitch! i.e. It trickled into the City net & the Villa supporters went mental.
