It'll probably be split, with BBC or ITV picking up the scraps.

Anyway, isn't the FA Cup Final one of those protected terrestrial TV events ?

It’s the end of the world as we know it.

Think this is the death knell for the FA Cup. I equate it to putting the World Cup or Olympics behind a paid subscription.

It isn’t about us (relatively) tech savvy young’uns finding streams or IPTV as a workaround. It’s about my pensioner Uncle in his 80’s and MANY like him who still loves the Big Cup, and actively looks forward to watching the games on the TV, as it’s the only live domestic football he gets all season.

Sorry but this is shit news.

Utter garbage putting the Cup behind a paywall. Also TNT has been dropped from the Virgin Maxit all in tv package so you not only renew at a higher price but with less content. TNT is now an add on. I’ve negotiated a new deal and dumped TNT. Not sure they’ll retain the subscriber base that BT had.

The FA have seem determined to bugger the cup up for a while and this is the latest in the process.
To not leave even one game on terrestrial tele is a dreadful move even if TNT will show some free to air
Such a shame that the best cup competition in the world is treated like this.
