Cup Final Day was really special and it's sad that I feel so indifferent about it these days. I am interested when Albion are involved but the semi at Wembley 3 years ago felt nothing (to me anyway) like the day at Highbury and would have been the case if even if we''d won. Whenever I mention that I am an Albion fan many people mention Smith's miss. How many incidents in finals of recent years will stay in the memories of neutral fans for 30 years+? Except maybe Pardew's dance.
