You've got to be winding me up here? You've played SUNDAY LEAGUE? Is that it? And that gives you a better grasp of football than people who haven't? Jesus wept. I've played Sunday League for about half of the years I've been on this planet, but I'd never dream of claiming it's even remotely relevant to analysing an FA Cup Final!

Well that post has just disproved my theory that people who play know a little more about the game than those who don't.

That's a fair point, and one I'd totally agree with had your first post not been along the lines of, "What bollocks, you just don't know anything about football."

Put a lot of thought into that one, did we?

Perhaps if you did that I wouldn't call your post bollocks. You're an intelligent man use your sodding brain rather than this James Whale hysterical rant that you use all the time then perhaps I might start agreeing with you. All the time it comes out as shit just shows you up for not knowing anything.

And I'm off to have my dinner.

What a ridiculous post. You're basically someone who can't stand the heat when a little bit of criticism is flying about. That does not mean I know little about football, it means you're overly sensitive and simply the opposite of me. By all means criticise individual posts, or provide examples of poor understanding, but "you don't know anything about football" is f***ing PLAYGROUND stuff.

Yeeeeeeeeaaaah RIGHT :D I'm sure you'd like to think that there's some heat on now, but this is sadly another reflection of your delusion. And I'm sensitive and you're the opposite! Jesus, I will put unintentionally funny on your very small list of qualities though.

ToT's has already accurately taken apart your posts and your general attitude to judging anything to do with football (as have I). I have nothing to add as I think we've hit the nail on the head.

I love reading a good argument. Not sure who comes across as most stupid. Anyway about the game I was meant to watch it with a good friend who is a Pompey fan, he wanted to go to a nice small brown cafe we frequent. I love the bar but know it is not the best bar to watch football in. I did want to see my Pompey fan's reaction as he is a passionate guy. Sadly he sent me an sms 1 hour before kick off to say he would watch it at home as he has hangover!!!!!!!! I must reconsider my friendship. If (sorry when) Brighton get to the FA cup final if I couldn't get to Wembley I would not cry off with a hangover. I instead went to a popular Irish bar full of moronic Pompey fans and watched a poor game. I have been more entertained reading this thread!

Unless I'm mistaking you for someone else, you only ever surface when I've slagged something off, and no matter what it is you'll defend it. If I am thinking of another poster, apologies, but I believe(d) it's you.

Well according to my post count that'd be 2,000+ times I'd 'surfaced'. Surely 1 in 5 of your posts isn't slagging something off? Oh hang on, maybe it is me.

Can't be bothered to read 'the arguement' but thought it was a reasonably good game, atmosphere was average and baggy jowled Harry looked as if he had a few quid on. Better than Manu v Chelsea I 'spose.

Thanks for a good argument,

Now you really are pushing the bounds of reality.

Fan A "that argument was shit today, worse than Cardiff"

Fans B & C "blah blah blah blah blah blah blah etc"

Fan A "I've got a stiffy"

Now for pity's sake.....

f*** OFF POMPEY
POMPEY f*** OFF

and relax

I slag plenty of things off, that I admit. The point was more that you could possibly find so much of it offensive, and if indeed you do then perhaps you are a little "sensitive." However, I don't pay enough attention to be sure of that. Thanks for a good argument, I'm off to do the work I should have been doing an hour ago:thumbsup:

Sorry, once again, I don't find it 'offensive'. 'Inaccurate' is the word. Check out the papers tomorrow and see who agrees that Cardiff were'shit' and not just a 'bit short at this level'.

The misanthropy of my fellow Brighton supporters continues to dismay. Two moderate sides served up a moderate game, better than some recent finals (last for example, or either of Newcastle's two visits in the late 90s), but patently not as good or thrilling as 2006. However, and I hold no brief for either Pompey's or Cardiff's still disproportionately large lunatic fringe, undoubtedly the most enjoyable part of today's game was the fact that supporters of both clubs had a day out at what is (or at least should be) the high point of the footballing season. Rather them, or anyone, including Palarse, than the (majority of) smug, self-satisfied glory seekers who follow any of the 'Big Four'.

Join in with my singsong Mouldy, it works for me and everyone else seems to be shamefully ignoring it. Football fans? More like big girls who wet the bed if they're not allowed to stay up late and watch chinless egg-chasers if you ask me

f*** OFF POMPEY
POMPEY f*** OFF
