First impression I thought it was a goal... Replay, inconclusive for me.

ITV overhead view = NO GOAL... Well done lino

Goaline tech would stop all this crap though.. So get on with it FIFA!

John terry is A LOT worse than kenny.

I'm not denying that. Just always good to see 'King Kenny' and his band of persecuted scousers have something else to whine about.

NO WAY was that over the line; people who think it was must be the same ones that shout at the ref/Lino at the Amex when the ball comes within a metre of the line.

He's certainly been a very lucky manager. Chelsea have had countless wrong decisions go their way (not even including today's).

Di Matteo even made the great Messi miss a pen FFS. He's god. f*** Rwoy. Di Matteo for England!

The ball was not completely over the line

The ball was not completely over the line

According to sky sports news. There's an aerial shot showing it over.

Regardless, the game is a joke without goal line technology these days.

It's happening in too many BIG games these days...

First view I thought it was in but the replays prove that the the whole of the ball was NOT over the whole of the line. Hard for refs and lion's but the correct decision was made today & no-one was robbed!

It was more of a goal then not a goal.

I have just seen this on ITV and if they zoom in it does look like its past the bar but not fully over the line?! Funny angle for a computer generated image. Tough to call.

On one replay it looked like the ball had crossed the line before being scooped out and up onto the bar but this was an optical illusion due to the positioning of the camera , other angles proved that the whole of the ball hadn't crossed the line.

Why are they on TV saying that inconclusive video replays support the call for video replays? Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying they are a strong argument against, but how is there any logic in saying "video replays couldn't settle it, don't you think an incident like this means we should have video replays?"

No, all an incident like this means is that video replay won't always provide a conclusive answer, and that sometimes a the ref might need to spend a bit of time looking at various shots, and still may end up either ruling on inconclusive footage, or allowing the original decision to stand.

At least on here people are saying "goal line technology" instead of "video replay".

ball didnt fully cross the line, end off. if there is any debate, it just shows that video techology isnt going to solve anything and we need a far more complex system to be reliable.

second half was quite exciting. Goal or no goal, who cares...no goal I reckon.

I do hope Chelsea lose the CL though. Can't stand them.
