VAR is ridiculous and getting worse. If you cannot give a decision is reasonable time, then pull the plug and move on.

A "correct" decision aeons late is still wrong in my book.

I sometimes wonder why we care how long it takes, not as if time is lost from the game. If you are on the wrong side of a incorrect decision it will hurt for weeks

I care because as implemented it fundamentally changes the nature of the game. It started out as an aide for officials, and has bloated beyond that.

I still hurt from lengthy, poorly-justified VAR decisions from previous seasons.

You won't hurt if they are the correct decision though. They rushed the offside check against Palace and gave them a goal they shouldn't have got. And then there was the debacle at Spurs

I hurt every time I have to restrain celebrations waiting to see if VAR is going to get involved. What used to be THE best part of the game.

Will yeah, that I agree with. But that's an argument against using VAR at all, not against the time taken for VAR to make a decision.
The argument against the time it takes are quite well trodden though.

It disrupts the flow of the game. Possible the constant cooling down of muscles are contributing to injuries, who knows on that one.

It certainly benefits the side who want the sting taken out of the game.

But mostly, you get home late enough after an evening game, without 6 mins stoppages in the first half and 10 in the second

Disgraceful from Matheus Cùntha.

Threw a punch at a Bournemouth player and then headbutted him afterwards. Now he won't leave the pitch.

Hope he's banned for the rest of the season. Appalling example set.
It's a real shame it's not on telly though. I do like disgraceful scenes, particularly when the commentators say "no one wants to see this".
