I know we're not interested, but it will allow some of our fringe players to get a game, and do you know what, I think it will end as a draw, so a home replay.

*******s ******* *******s.

Bloody Whitehawk! Years I've been waiting to draw Everton at Goodison, years. And they bloody get it the first time they ever reach the 3rd round. NO FAIR! BOOOO! :tantrum:
They way their fans are celebrating you would think they have already won the replay

What's the point? We aren't gonna win the cup, we don't need the cash of a money spinner away at a giant PL club. We could do with One less game to play. No one is saying a development team won't give it their all, and who knows they might even win. But I imagine Hughton will think the same way as most on here. It will be good if the Albion compensated fans in some way for their tickets and travel to Hull and then played the reserves.

I can't think of a worse draw for us than Hull away,

I am surprised that most people don't like this draw but I think the management will like it because. In so many games when we have only been winning by the odd goal CH has found it difficult to introduce the likes of Manu into a game because he has been looking to protect a lead.

The FA Cup against another side near the top of the same division he can take the opportunity to get a look at these fringe players and be able to see how they cope at this level and if they do well to perhaps introduce them into league matches later - They can take a chance playing them without the worry that it would potentially cost us points wise in the league.

Yes so while its not a great draw for the fans it will be great for squad development. Oh and I almost got the draw I wanted against Norwich......so close.

unlike your user name that's not a sensible reply , dont need the cash ? How comes Blooms bailing us out out on a regular basis , compensate the fans ? How about reducing home match day prices???

Crappy Club away draw
Unleash the full force of The Albion on them.
Make them pray they never have to play us again.

Beat the no marks in the 4th round then the 5th

Cruise into the final

Smash the contenders in the league whilst at it.

The day you give up on the dream of reaching the FA Cup final in preference of some squad freshness for the benefit of league position is the day you should wake up and realise the tossers that run the game for money have bought your sorry arse

I went to Walsall, where Hughton made 10 changes. Do I regret it? Do I wish we were still in the League cup? No & no.

Getting promoted will bring in lots & lots more money than cup money.

Concentrate fully on the league.
Avoid potential injuries and unnecessary fatigue to keep our squad fully fit for the remainder of the season.

All goes well and we'll get a plum-draw every week throughout next season and £100m+ in the clubs pocket.

Unless we ever get relegated below the Championship, ticket prices will likely never be reduced.

Yes, or we could ensure that no promotion rival dev squad player makes a name for himself by taking out Kayal, Stephens, Zamora etc. for the rest of the season.

if you are going to be too scared to play because of what the opposition might do and what injuries your players might pick up...............why bother playing at all then

Why risk players essential to our promotion push against a promotion rival in a competition which isn't a priority this year ?

1) Get promoted and we'll have a far better squad to attempt FA Cup glory in future seasons.

2) The temptation for a no-mark Hull reserve to 'accidentally' injure one of our key players can't be overlooked.

we shall have to agree to disagree chap

we are BHAFC in the championship,The FA Cup should be as important to gaining promotion.

we are not Arsenal,Man Utd or Chelsea who diminish the cup in favour of gaining a champions league place

we are fracking brilliant but we are not more important than the Cup
