au contraire, i will be very surprised if we take less than 2000 indeed to be honest i am expecting closer to 3000.

On a weekend we'd have sold out.

This shit idea of playing the fifth round midweek would mean time off work and, at £30 for the match and probably around £50 for the coach, I'm going to have to say I'm out.

That said, we took a few to Stoke last year, didn't we?

Wolves will get 16,000 for that one. At £20, that would have been nearer 25,000 IMO which is a far more befitting gate. Actually I think both clubs are letting the competition down a bit, as well as the fans by agreeing to £30.

£30 feels like a quarter final price these days. Sadly, there is no buzz in the competition until then for clubs like Wolves (and Brighton) unless the game is a derby or top 6/non-league opposition.

Prices for season ticket holders are £12 for adults, £4 for over-65s and under-18s and £1 for under-11s.​

Those who do not have season tickets pay £15 for adults, £5 for over-65s and under-18s and £1 for under-11s.​

If we take 1500 that would be good. I suspect the ground will be half empty at those prices with it being a mid week game, many people have to take time off work. At £15/20 across the board I suspect it would have been close to a sell out. Dont think either club has covered themself with glory agreeing that price tbh.

I was thinking of going up but Weds has killed that idea. I couldn’t manage with not getting back about 2 in the morning , it’s too much. Whereas with a Saturday would have been okay.

Sheff United Charging £30 for the league, and then half of that for the cup feels the right way of doing it.

It'll be interesting to see if we're allocated the stand across the side-line or the two-tiered corner, the latter being the much better stand in my opinion.

We've got the one down the side of the pitch (with the bit behind the goal an option if/when we sell out the first 3,000).

Poor pricing, Wolverhampton isn't a particularly well supported club, probably get 2k of our fans and about 15k of theirs so 17,000 total audience in a stadium which holds over 30,000.

It won't be a matter of agreeing £30 just for away supporters, the clubs agree the pricing for all supporters, but without me digging out the specific document again, the general rule is pricing has to be the same for both sets of fans for similar seats. So if the agreement is, broadly, "£20 behind the goal, £30 on the sides" then that applies to all fans, and it's just unfortunate that the main away area at Wolves is along the touchline.

It's a shame they didn't go for a single price for all seats - just take your pick. Without checking back, it feels like we've done this for some "less attractive" Cup games - all seats at one price point, regardless of how much they cost for League fixtures.

we did it for 1/4 final last year !! £25 a ticket and for the 4th round v Liverpool

Fair enough good clarity on the rule, it seems to be that £30 is quite a lot and most Wolves fans seem to agree. Not too bad really, can do it there and back without taking annual leave which is good really.

Sadly covering for someone at work so I cannot take the p*ss and take another half day for football, when I have three days booked off the following week for football. It's crap that this is a mandated midweek match, sucks the life out of the cup at a crucial stage.

The last train out is 22.45 and I'm booked on it. The game proper will end at 21.45. ET would run from 21.50 to 22.25. And it’s a 15 minute walk to the station. So, I would miss penalties. And so would anyone else heading south.
