Somehow, almost unbelievably, it would still be Lewis Dunk v Billy Sharp if that was the fixture.

I'd take Cardiff away, Saturday 3pm- they'd give us as many tickets as we could sell, surely?
Oooh, I'd quite fancy that. Good city to visit. One we haven't done for a few seasons. Yes please.

Anyone below us in the league at home would be best.
If it's away then-

1 - Manchester United - Cant afford it!!! Will be £60+ per ticket
2 - Millwall - Why not?
4 - Preston North End - I'm there shortly, good pubs.
5 - Exeter City - Easy trip, weekend away.
Nottingham Forest - Oh no
6 - Ipswich Town - Again, not so sure of a victory in the cup though
7 - Blackburn Rovers - Another weekend away, great pubs outside of town.
Wolves - Fill the entire Steve Bull stand again
8 - Fulham - Small town in Chelsea
9 - Newcastle United - Never been, time for a weekend away?
10 - Plymouth Argyle - How do you get there? 5 day trip.
Liverpool - No thanks.
11 - Bournemouth - Done it once.
12 - Aston Villa - Easy to get too.
Tottenham Hotspur - Not an option, losing today.
13 - Burnley - Only in the summer for the cricket club.
14 - Manchester City - NOOO
15 - Doncaster Rovers - Never been so a weekend away.
Crystal Palace - Oh please
16 - Cardiff City - Best option, 5 day trip, great pubs.

Yes. The Safety Advisory Group (SAG) have final say on how many tickets can be allocated to away fans and the FA/clubs are not able to overrule them.

This article, although from 10 years ago, it still applies today.

So the SAG would have met to approve the 6000 away allocation on Saturday. I'd have thought the Police would have overridden it.

Mon 9th from 7.10pm BBC1 who do you want, we are ball 3
Be good to avoid a PL team. Wycombe Wanders looks the safest bet assuming Exeter don't best Forest and Plymouth don't beat Liverpool and Doncaster don't best Palace. I have a feeling though we'll draw Palace away in the 5th round.

Nice to meet a fellow “Oaker” on here. Any non PL team away would be decent.

I don't want Man Utd away - but I suspect we'll get it. But then again, if we do - I should be able to get a ticket and go.
Probably at £70 with no concessions given their pricing for the 4th round, they are bound to charge more as a round furthe ron.

Whether they met or we just asked the groups that make up the SAG if they had any objections to the extra 1000 tickets I don’t know. But the Police obviously didn’t have any problems with it or Chelsea wouldn't have been given the extra tickets.

Maybe the police saw a few extra quid overtime in it for them as it probably needed a slightly larger police presence. But as far as I’m aware it went off without any incidents and Chelsea fans were as quiet as mice for most of the game.

Millwall away - they’re so funny and my son hasn’t seen them in their natural habitat yet
