Unfortunately the draw isn't that inspiring so there's a reasonable chance it'll be on TV. Which leaves us at the mercy of the sort of bastards at the FA who think it's reasonable to make fans undertake a 700 mile round trip for a game that could feasibly feature extra time and penalties on a Friday, Sunday, Monday or Tuesday evening.

Depending on how many games are televised, I'd have thought the obvious ones are:

City v Plymouth (floundering behemoth v plucky giant killers)
Palace v Millwall (derby match, bit more atmosphere than most)
Bournemouth v Wolves (Bournemouth this season's entertainers)
Exeter or Forest v Ipswich (either major giantkillers at home to a PL side, or this season's surprise package)
Saudis v us (TV companies love to bang on about Geordies liking to win trophies, as if no other fans are bothered by such things).
Manchester United v Fulham (because Manchester United)
I'm predicting tea time on the Saturday evening.

If we are going to win this thing we will have to beat tough teams on the way so it is what it is as potter used to say
While that's undoubtedly true, most teams that go all the way in the trophy are likely to have at least one easy draw along the way. We've been given nowt so far and there's not likely to be much in the way of easy options after the fifth round.

Yes, but it would still be much more preferable to PALACE our way through the rounds, so we get a decent chance of another day out at Wembley.

Its like in the World Cup when England bollocks up the group stage and end up with Argentina in the R16. Out we go, and thats that for another 4 years. I'd prefer to play someone crap and go as far as possible.

Unless you’re Citeh who always seem to get easy draws !
Man City get piss easy draws every year
Now we've been through this before- they don't. Last year they had four Premier League teams: Tottenham, Newcastle, Luton and Chelsea. The previous year they had to beat Chelsea and Arsenal on the way.

Just spotted that I'm photographing in Brighton both days that weekend so that's another potential live match up the Swanee. :(

Or Palace, whose average FA Cup run consists of Hartlepool, Mansfield Town, Shrewsbury and 40 year old Billy Sharp.

It's not a good draw but one good thing about this is Newcastle's 3 games before the tie are Man City, Forest then Liverpool away on 26 Feb.
We get one extra day's rest over them and - hopefully, like Chelsea were - they may be a bit tired and flat after Salah, MacAllister and co run them ragged.
