I've got 2013, 2012 and 1983. Can't remember the other one.4 times.
EDIT, oh yeah, 1986
I've got 2013, 2012 and 1983. Can't remember the other one.4 times.
I looked on 11v11 as well. We've been drawn against them (prior to this season's competition) on five occasions - we lost to them in February 1930.
Well, look harder.I looked on 11v11 as well.![]()
Edited to explain the advert.Well, look harder.![]()
I'm predicting tea time on the Saturday evening.Unfortunately the draw isn't that inspiring so there's a reasonable chance it'll be on TV. Which leaves us at the mercy of the sort of bastards at the FA who think it's reasonable to make fans undertake a 700 mile round trip for a game that could feasibly feature extra time and penalties on a Friday, Sunday, Monday or Tuesday evening.
Depending on how many games are televised, I'd have thought the obvious ones are:
City v Plymouth (floundering behemoth v plucky giant killers)
Palace v Millwall (derby match, bit more atmosphere than most)
Bournemouth v Wolves (Bournemouth this season's entertainers)
Exeter or Forest v Ipswich (either major giantkillers at home to a PL side, or this season's surprise package)
Saudis v us (TV companies love to bang on about Geordies liking to win trophies, as if no other fans are bothered by such things).
Manchester United v Fulham (because Manchester United)
Unless you’re Citeh who always seem to get easy draws !If we are going to win this thing we will have to beat tough teams on the way so it is what it is as potter used to say
While that's undoubtedly true, most teams that go all the way in the trophy are likely to have at least one easy draw along the way. We've been given nowt so far and there's not likely to be much in the way of easy options after the fifth round. If we are going to win this thing we will have to beat tough teams on the way so it is what it is as potter used to say
Yes, but it would still be much more preferable to PALACE our way through the rounds, so we get a decent chance of another day out at Wembley. If we are going to win this thing we will have to beat tough teams on the way so it is what it is as potter used to say
This season I went via Edinburgh on national express from brighton took me almost 13 hoursA winnable game but one that is a ridiculous pain to get to. Basically a two day commitment. FFS!
Unless you’re Citeh who always seem to get easy draws !
Now we've been through this before- they don't. Last year they had four Premier League teams: Tottenham, Newcastle, Luton and Chelsea. The previous year they had to beat Chelsea and Arsenal on the way.Man City get piss easy draws every year
Or Palace, whose average FA Cup run consists of Hartlepool, Mansfield Town, Shrewsbury and 40 year old Billy Sharp.Unless you’re Citeh who always seem to get easy draws !
