Agreed. Steward suggested it was ‘all android phones’ but don’t think it could have been anything like…..
That's what we were told at the southern entrance to the West Upper, it didn't matter to me as I'm a fully fledged member of the cult of Apple but most of my mates and my Dad all use android phones. None of them had an issue getting in.

Yep the lowest of the lowest are now invited to pick up the scraps with 48 hours until kick off .

35 years going to a few games a season, but below mates of ST’s and members who have never gone before !
But you could have got a ST or member mate to get you one almost immediately, right?

Anyone else having issues downloading tickets to Apple Wallet?

Admittedly I probably should have done this when the email first arrived, but having just attempted it the BHA server seems unresponsive.
Yes. It took me about 4-5 goes. Timed out a few times the first few. But all done now.

Or bought a membership….
I spent 40 + years going to most homes and a lot of aways. As of last year I go to a few games a season and bought membership. I’m not sure why you wouldn’t in my position.

Ah, bless the Amex cup games. Gotta love 'em. Really looking foward already to seeing all those innocent first-timers innocently carrying their pints back to their seats. Rarely get stopped by the stewards who are in the main bluffing that they know what they're doing. Guaranteed shitshow on Sunday :lolol:
Sounds like the bookies on grand national day!

I agree and empathise with you. Purchase history counts for almost diddly squat these days.

That’s why I pay the extra for membership each year. I only go to three or four games a season but it’s worth its weight in gold to be able to get tickets when I choose. I appreciate it‘s not for everyone but I don’t mind paying the extra, as I don’t fill the club’s coffers nearly as much as many.

Promising myself a season ticket on retirement as a reward for a lifetime’s shift work.

Seen on Twitter that there are ticket sites selling seats in west lower for £89 each! WTF. Gonna be loads of plastics, tourists and Liverpool fans in those seats. Hope the club are as keen on cracking down on that as they are on stopping people passing on away tickets.

Yep, being touted on stubhub. Plenty of people tagging the club in the tweets so will be interesting to see what they do about it. In the meantime I’ve got my birth certificate, driving licence, passport, blood and urine samples, DNA test results and a letter from my mum to take to Palace and collect my ticket 🙄

I guess if there aren’t enough BHA fans to buy/want them, then that’s why this is happening.

No tickets are being sold on StubHub. They'll only offer a marketplace for tickets they have an arrangement with a host club to operate.

The one mouthy bloke on twitter trying to tout tickets mentions his status on StubHub, not that he is selling them on StubHub.

You will never find an Albion home ticket on StubHub.

Why are the club getting a hard time ? No one even knows if they’re legit. And it wouldn’t be impossible for the club to get a few and ban whoever is passing them on 🤷🏻‍♂️

They certainly used to have a process to track down these sellers and ban them - I imagine they still do.

You mis-read the tweet (assuming it's the same one).

There are a few dodgy ticketing sites about - generally based outside the UK out of the reach of UK law. One of the main ones, livefootballtickets, is based in Spain for example.

As I posted above, I know the club did have a process to try and track down the tickets, and original buyer and take action - both cancelling the tickets (meaning the attendee is denied entry) and banning the original purchaser, but it must be a laborious time-intensive process and a bit of a whack-a-mole game that's difficult to win.

I've got a meeting with the club next week to get a preview of the season ticket renewal package for next year, so I'll ask about this if there's a chance.

The amount of ticket scammers on Twitter takes the cake. They’ve got very few followers, no substantial tweet “history”, References are either fake screenshots or from accounts with very few followers (less than 10)
You seriously don’t need to be Sherlock Holmes to see it’s a scam

Yet I imagine it's still easier and quicker than cross referencing and writing names on 3000+ away tickets.
